So if you saw the update before this when I had a bunch of picture's of the Class of 2015 for the Homecoming 2012 float, you should have seen this coming.
Here is the, still undefeated champions of the homecoming float competition, float for Homecoming 2013.
The theme was Disney and our class chose Toy Story which proved difficult at first because what can you really do that is original.
But here we have toy soldiers that were tediously hot glued to a string and a toy box, filled with stuffed animals from just about everyone's family.
Let me tell you that this was difficult. We had Andy's room done, but something was missing. So we added a red little car with Buzz driving and Woody suspended in the air using fishing line.
Woody's face by the way was probably one of the hardest things to do as well because it took the paint on the milk jug forever to dry. Once it did the eye's and mouth kept smearing.
Here's another angle.
This took a long time too. All of the pomping, but it was worth it in the end.
More toy soldier!
And the toys!
Another angle on the car.
And if your asking if in a small rural town we have more than plenty of boots to spare,
the picture above should be some sort of answer to that.
And finally, one of my favorite ideas!
Our opponent for the football game were the Argenta-Oreanta Bombers, who's school color is orange by the way.
So since we were feeling daring, we tore up an old Illini t-shirt and fed the dinosaurs.
